The Surf Hotel in Vasiliki, Lefkada is looking to hire a Barista for seasonal employment for the hotel’s pool bar for the 2023 season.
Responsibilities
- Taking and carrying out orders and serving snacks and drinks in the bar area of responsibility
- Communication with waiters to organize and serve orders
- Interacting with customers in a courteous and helpful manner and creating a unique experience
- Recording cellar and warehouse shortages and communicating with suppliers for orders
- Suggestions and tips for changes to the beverage & beverage list
- Maintain cash and manage accounts responsibly
- Keeping bar and responsibility area clean at all times
- Regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Maintaining a clean uniform, neat appearance and personal hygiene
Necessary Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic and friendly personality
- Previous experience in a similar position at least 2 years
- Excellent knowledge of making all kinds of coffee, drinks and classic cocktails
- Excellent ability to serve customers with courtesy and friendliness
- Ability to organize space and workload
- Ability to work under pressure, speed
- Ability to adapt to the operational standards and the way the hotel operates
- Ability to comply with hygiene, quality and product safety regulations
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Desired knowledge of a second and/or third language (German, Dutch, Italian, French)
